There, it is at the center of everything, along with nature, which helped to create it over a century ago. Since its initial opening, the park has grown, but it has preserved its history and origins: the natural mineral water springs!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">Much more than a tourist attraction, the place, which was once the scene of a battle between the native Cataguases and European settlers, is today an attraction to the region, welcoming people from all around the country and abroad, seeking contact with nature and the many health benefits offered by its mineral water springs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">The therapeutic properties of the mineral water that surfaces in the area were not discovered until the 19th century. The news about the spring\u2019s magic, its purity, and the flavor of its waters and their health benefits, quickly spread around the region.<br><br>For many reasons, the <strong>S\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o Springs Park<\/strong>  is a can\u2019t-miss stop on your family trip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">It was there, in the 19th century, on Jo\u00e3o Francisco Viana\u2019s ranch, that a spring of pure and different water was discovered: the water was carbonated and very clear.
